Centre for Environment Education, CEE was created in recognition of the importance of environmental education in India's overall environment and development strategy. The result of a unique partnership between government and a non-governmental institution, CEE was established as a Centre of Excellence in 1984, supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), Government of India.

கையூட்டு (லஞ்சம்) - வாட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் கொடுமை

மிகுந்த சிந்தனைக்கு பின் ஒரு உண்மை சம்பவம் ...

இந்த கையூட்டு பிரச்சனை எல்லா அரசு அலுவலகங்கிலும் இருக்கும். எல்லோரும் இதை ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் சந்தித்து வருகின்றனர்.

ஒரு நன்னாளில் தமிழக அரசு கட்டாய திருமண பதிவுச் சட்டத்தை நிறைவேற்றியது... அவ்வளவுதான் .. ஒவ்வொரு பதிவாளர் / சார்-பதிவாளர் மற்றும் பதிவாளர் அலுவலகத்தில் பனி புரியும் தலைமை கிளெர்க்கும் மிகுதியான மகிழ்ச்சியில் மூழ்கிவிட்டனர்.


காரணம் என்னவென்றால், திருமணபதிவுகளில் வரும் கையூட்டு. :-)

முறையல்லாத பத்திரப் பதிவுக்கு லஞ்சம் குடுத்து பழக்கி விட்டனர் மக்கள். இதே முறையில்.. முறையாக நடக்கும் திருமணங்களுக்கும் இந்த சமூகப் பேய்கள் லஞ்சம் கேட்டு வருகிறார்கள்.
அரசு பதிவாளர் அலுவலக நடைமுறை கண்டிப்பாக மாற்றப்படவேண்டிய ஒன்று !!! அந்த விடிவு காலம் எப்பொழுது ?

பாராட்ட பட வேண்டிய விஷயம்

இந்நிலையில், தேர்தலில் வாக்களிக்கும் ஜனநாயகக் கடமையை ஆற்றாமல் வீட்டிற்குள் முடங்கிக் கிடப்பவர்களுக்கு வேட்டு வைக்கும் விதமாக குஜராத் மாநில சட்டசபையில் ஒரு தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது. உள்ளாட்சிக்கான தேர்தல்களில் அனைவரும் வாக்களிக்க வேண்டும். அவ்வாறு வாக்களிக்காதவர்கள், ஏன் வாக்களிக்கவில்லை என்பதற்கான காரணத்தை ஒரு மாத கெடுவிற்குள் விளக்க வேண்டும். காரணம் அரசாங்கத்தை திருப்திப்படுத்தாவிடில் அவர்கள் தண்டனையை சந்திக்க நேரிடும். இதுதான் தற்போது நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுள்ள சட்டம். வழக்கம்போல் எதிரிக்கட்சிகளின், குறிப்பாகக் காங்கிரஸின் எதிர்ப்புக் கூக்குரலுக்கிடையே இச்சட்டம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Train journey that I cherish

Travelling in train is not a new thing to me. Yet, I am fond of travelling in trains. I have also felt that, travelling in a day train gives more opportunity to view scenic beauties.

The route I have cherished the most is the railway line stretch between Omalur and Dharmapuri. (for those who wonder where these places are.. this is enroute salem to Bangalore travel path). The train passes over the beautiful thoppur ghats. Will post the pictures soon.

What happened to Jack , when driving thru rains ?

How careful can I be when driving my bike thru rains ? It was a spoiler show.. when I was thrown out of my bike. I was examining the cause...

if it doesnt rain ? No problem.. roads provide nice grip.
When heavy rains lash ? Roads are thoroughly washed and we have to be carefull of water logged roads.
What if, it has just started raining ? BE ALERT ! I am saying this out of experience.
Why ALERT ? : On a usual day, vehicles like cars/bikes/bus/trucks drip some oil on roads. When it just begins to rain, oils float to the surface of the road, offering a slippery surface.

I realised after I skid on one such slippery surface on an unfortunate occasion. (Ha ha ha)
